AAID Western District
meeting to take place
June 10 to 11 in San Francisco

his June, the AAID Western District invites you to attend “Focus
on Site Development,” a two-day
meeting being held in San Francisco. The program aims to cover the
techniques for when encountering patients with inadequate bone volume for
implant placement.
The meeting will take place June 10 to 11
at the Westin St. Francis on Union Square.
Any dentist who wants a concentrated
weekend of extensive learning about the
latest in implant site development is invited to attend.
Additional workshops will allow participants to gain hands-on experience.
“Focus on Site Development’s” intensive program will include didactic lectures and hands-on opportunities.
Topics covered will include:

• Buccal plate repair using allograft
• Sinus grafting
• Anterior immediate site development
• Soft-tissue grafting

AAID opens submissions for 2022 table clinics
The American Academy of Implant
Dentistry (AAID) has opened abstract
submissions for table clinics to be presented at the 2022 AAID Annual Conference in Dallas, Texas, from Sept. 21 to 24.
Each year, AAID brings together hundreds of leaders in the field of implant
dentistry for hands-on workshops, semi-
nars and networking. This year’s annual
conference, “Zero in on Zero Complications: How to prevent complications by
zeroing in on the challenges,” is seeking
abstracts for table clinics.
AAID encourages anyone interested in
sharing oral implantology research —
including students and residents, as well
as educators and practicing dentists —
to submit. Complimentary 2022 annual
conference registration is provided for
up to two students per submission.
